Domain names are getting more expensive

If you have good type in domains you can just sit on a parked page and make money with no work.

True - but on the other hand, try messing with the wrong guys and they’ll sue your arse to death for trademark issues and shit like that.
On the other hand, I can completely understand buying country-targeted domains no matter how much more expensive they are than the .com’s - I bought one recently for like $36 and it has already returned me that money multiple times in profits.
