What a horrible domain name. Plus, I’m not sure what they think they’re going to accomplish competing with craigslist (which they own 25% of). If they really think kijiji adds value, why not add that value to craigslist and leverage the huge amount of traffic there.

This is the USA launch, kijiji has been around for several years internationally, craigslist started its agressive expansion into US cities after kijiji was out in the wild, i think.

Go after backpages. no one is targetting them. The domain name isn’t that strange.
Ever seen the asian domains like 3220.org and 43320.com? Curious stuff.
They should have gone after social networking and classifieds in other countries where there is nothing like craigslist yet.
