I was just doing a whois lookup on domaintools and i see a nice long article on their blog.

Some companys will do anything to try and spread false information in a desperate attempt to justify what they do and why they deserve their wages.

Please tell me if this is right and if this can be justified as a way of getting ahead.

  1. Baloney, IMV: If you don’t want people to cybersquat for “your” terms, go and register them yourself. If you’re too cheap to do that, go pursue some other line of eking out a living…

Bogus figures, FUD tactics, media hype - sounds very much like WH SEO to me. :-)
