John Scott, owner of v7n.com forums has taken a shot at Rand Fishkin. And it’s creating a buzz all around the SEO forums and blogs.
“Where the hell does he pull this criteria from?
What basis does he have for stating this?
Since when did a page ranking for the words in it’s page titles mean something? ”

Hmmm. I’m no guru and have only four or five years SEO’ing my own sites, but I sure thought that a very good criteria for ranking is a page’s title.
But then, who am I to contradict a SEO guru that has his own fan club full of ladies that simply adore him? “smoking-hot John Scott!”
I guess this type of attacking is not new for John Scott as documented by Loren Baker of searchenginejournal in his post last year SEO Alert : Who Will John Scott & v7n Flame Next?
