Who’d think that there is money in farts? Worse still a marketing opportunity in hosting a fart-joke contest? Not me, but this shows the creativity in SEO nowadays.
I got a press release today from eReleases Newsbureau about a back-end, funniest joke contest. Okay, that’s a good idea, but what’s so special? Well, this is a company that makes antigas products, so I assume they are not farting around with this contest.
The firm’s name is CharcoCaps, (funny in itself, are their antigas products suppositories?), and they’ve named the contest “CharcoCaps Laughing Gas Contest”, but wait there’s more!
The winner will be announced “The CharcoCaps Whoopee Cushion Winner” with a first place prize of $1,000 prepaid gasoline card and an undisclosed amount of Charcocaps products. LOL
Here’s the real toot, the press release gives their URL: CharcoCaps, but that URL redirects to: www.absorbine.com and if you check their homepage, it’s about Animal Health Care Products. I guess the CharcoCap antigas products are heavy duty strength!
This gets funnier all the time and I have my doubts about the integrity of the contest, but what the hell, if I knew any good fart jokes, I send them in.
